The Image-Guided Side of the Continuum

Dr. Aaron Frodsham is a board-certified interventional radiologist with 15 years of clinical practice experience. His specialty is treating problems through a small access point instead of an open incision — using real-time imaging to guide precise, minimally invasive procedures.

Dr. Frodsham’s clinical focus brings regenerative and orthobiologic care together with image-guided spine and musculoskeletal procedures and GAE. He works with Camber’s multidisciplinary team to recommend options suited to each patient’s condition and goals.

Founder of Evolve Medical

In 2016, Dr. Frodsham established Evolve Medical in Salt Lake City, building a comprehensive outpatient interventional practice focused on minimally invasive, image-guided care. That experience helped shape the advanced outpatient procedural care he now brings to Camber.

Clinical Focus

Dr. Frodsham’s clinical focus includes:

  • Regenerative and orthobiologic joint care, including PRP, as a shared Camber team offering.
  • Image-guided spine and musculoskeletal procedures. Specific treatments, the performing clinician, and the appropriate location are discussed during consultation.
  • Genicular artery embolization (GAE) for appropriately selected patients with knee osteoarthritis. Read the plain-language knee care guide.

Selected Publications & Presentations

Procedure experience: Nearly two years of experience performing genicular artery embolization (GAE), with more than 50 procedures performed.

How Dr. Frodsham Approaches Care

Dr. Frodsham’s published care philosophy emphasizes listening carefully, explaining available options, and helping patients make informed decisions based on their goals. His approach is to provide the best information available from his knowledge and experience, then support the patient’s decision.

The Camber Difference

Why Dr. Frodsham at Camber

At Camber, the interventional radiologist who performs GAE and the orthopedic surgeon who performs joint replacement are on the same team. This allows patients to consider both minimally invasive and surgical options, with recommendations based on the individual patient and their knee rather than the procedure offered by a single specialist.

Your consultation is the starting point for discussing options across the joint-care continuum.

Wondering whether GAE could be an option for your knee? Start with the plain-language guide: Knee Pain: Alternatives to Knee Replacement — or take the candidate quiz.

Care in English, Portuguese, and Spanish

Dr. Frodsham speaks fluent Portuguese and conversational Spanish. Patients can discuss their care with him directly in Portuguese and in Spanish for many everyday clinical conversations, with fluent English/Spanish support from Gibran Borja, PA-C, on the orthopedic side.
