Camber brings complementary expertise together so patients can discuss nonsurgical, interventional, and surgical options within one coordinated care plan. These are areas of care, not steps every patient must complete. Recommendations depend on your diagnosis, symptoms, prior treatment, overall health, and goals. Surgical evaluation may be appropriate without trying every nonsurgical option first.

The Problem

Whoever You Call First Decides What You’re Offered

When your knee or hip starts limiting your life, the advice you get depends heavily on whose door you walk through.

Camber brings interventional radiology, orthopedic surgery and orthopedic physician-assistant experience into one team.

Many practices are built around a particular type of treatment, whether nonsurgical, interventional, or surgical. Camber brings regenerative and orthobiologic care, image-guided interventions, and orthopedic surgical expertise together within one team, allowing treatment decisions to consider a broader range of options rather than a single approach.

Camber Joint Institute was formed to occupy exactly that middle.

Joint-Care Continuum

The Joint-Care Options Camber Is Mapping

Camber’s service map includes four areas of joint care.

1

Regenerative Therapies

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

2

Interventional Solutions

Genicular artery embolization (GAE) and other image-guided, minimally invasive procedures.

3

Joint Preservation Surgery

Partial knee arthroplasty and cartilage-preserving procedures.

4

Joint Replacement

Total knee and hip replacement, including minimally invasive options.

Camber brings regenerative and orthobiologic therapies, image-guided interventions, and orthopedic surgical expertise together within one team. This allows patients to consider a broader range of options and receive recommendations based on their condition, goals, and stage of joint disease.

Looking into GAE? Read our Knee Pain page and discuss your questions at a consultation.

Second Opinions

Told You Need a Knee Replacement? It’s Worth a Second Look.

Contact the office if you would like to discuss a prior recommendation for surgery.

The office can help arrange a consultation with the appropriate specialist. Procedure and follow-up locations will be discussed as part of your care plan.

Either way, you leave with a straight answer.

The Team

Specialists Who Put Their Names on the Work

Camber is not a franchise or a network brand. It’s three named specialists you can look up:

Aaron Frodsham, MD — board-certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Yale–New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael and his interventional radiology fellowship at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital. He has 15 years of clinical practice experience and established Evolve Medical in Salt Lake City in 2016, building a comprehensive outpatient interventional practice. His clinical interests include image-guided musculoskeletal and spine interventions, regenerative and orthobiologic therapies, and genicular artery embolization (GAE) for knee osteoarthritis.

Bruce G. Evans, MD — board-certified orthopedic surgeon, 38+ years of experience. Sports medicine, adult reconstruction, hip and knee replacement, minimally invasive joint replacement, partial knee arthroplasty.

Gibran Borja, PA-C — Bilingual Orthopedic Physician Assistant | Joint & Spine Care. Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, University of Utah Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine.

Your care team will discuss the appropriate clinician, procedure location and follow-up plan during consultation.

Continuity of Care

Continuity Across the Journey

Joint problems can change over time. Your care team can review your options as your symptoms, needs, and goals change.

Camber brings regenerative, image-guided interventional, and orthopedic surgical expertise together. When a procedure or surgery is performed at another appropriate facility, your Camber team can remain involved in coordinating your care.

Care in Your Language

English. Español. Português.

Talking through a joint decision is hard enough in your first language. At Camber you can do it in yours — with the clinicians themselves, not through a translation line.

Dr. Frodsham is fluent in Portuguese and conversational in Spanish. Gibran Borja, PA-C, is fluent in English and Spanish and provides direct communication for a diverse patient population.

Spanish and Portuguese pages for this site are planned. Spanish-speaking care is available through Gibran Borja, PA-C, who is fluent in Spanish, and Dr. Frodsham is fluent in Portuguese and conversational in Spanish.
