Gibran Borja, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with more than 15 years of medical experience in orthopedics and musculoskeletal care. His clinical focus includes joint pain, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, and interventional spine care, with individualized nonsurgical treatment plans and selected joint and spine procedures performed within his clinical privileges and scope of practice, in collaboration with his supervising/collaborating physicians. His background includes surgical first assisting in arthroscopic surgery and total joint replacement; this is not a current Camber surgical assignment. Fluent in English and Spanish, he provides direct, culturally responsive communication as part of Camber’s multidisciplinary care team.
Mr. Borja brings orthopedic evaluation, joint-injection and clinic experience to Camber. The team will discuss the appropriate clinician and follow-up plan during consultation.

Mr. Borja brings a strong connection to hard work, faith, family, and community. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He has also participated in medical mission work serving underserved communities, an experience he says continues to shape his empathy and patient-centered approach.
Clinical Focus & Procedure Experience
Mr. Borja’s clinical focus includes joint pain, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, and interventional spine care. Selected procedures are performed within his clinical privileges and scope of practice, in collaboration with his supervising/collaborating physicians. His experience includes:
- Joint and ultrasound-guided procedures: knee, shoulder, hip, AC-joint, wrist, elbow, ankle, carpal-tunnel, and other peripheral-joint injections; hip targets include the greater trochanteric bursa and labral pathology.
- Orthobiologic and regenerative procedures: PRP for the knee, shoulder, hip, labral pathology, wrist, and AC joint.
- Soft-tissue and peripheral procedures: trigger-point injections, occipital nerve blocks, and tendon or peri-tendinous injections when clinically appropriate.
- Spine care: evaluation, nonsurgical management, and selected spine injections within his clinical privileges and scope of practice. The team confirms the specific procedure, clinician, and location during consultation.
- Surgical first-assist experience: total knee and hip arthroplasty; knee arthroscopy, meniscal repair or debridement, ACL reconstruction, and manipulation under anesthesia; and shoulder arthroscopy, rotator-cuff procedures, labral procedures, and subacromial decompression / impingement procedures.
His experience spans clinic evaluation, pre-operative preparation, post-operative follow-up, and surgical first assisting in prior roles. Surgical first assisting is not a current Camber assignment. He is focused on helping patients stay connected to the work and relationships that matter to them.

Mr. Borja believes good care begins with trust, compassion, and meaningful communication. His goal is for patients to feel heard, respected, and fully informed throughout each step of care. For Spanish-speaking patients, that conversation can happen directly with their clinician.
